The fastest way to get around Azeroth is certainly via portal, which is why knowing where portals are located is super important to be able to get where you want to go. If you’re new to the Battle for Azeroth expansion, or just new to the Alliance side of life, you may be wondering, “Where is the Portal Room in Boralus?”
The portal room in Boralus, The Sanctum of the Sages, is located at the coordinates 70.43, 17.66 in Tradewinds Market. It will contain five portals to other locations in Azeroth.
Which Portals are in the Boralus Portal Room
There are five portals in The Sanctum of the Sages. The Nazjatar portal will only become available after you complete up to a certain point in the Nazjatar quest chain.
- Nazjatar (if you’ve unlocked it)
- The Exodar
How To Unlock the Boralus Portal Room
When you first get to Boralus, you won’t have the portal room unlocked. You’ll need to progress in the Battle for Azeroth introductory questline in order to unlock it. Thankfully, you don’t have to get far. The 13th quest, Sanctum of the Sages, will have you activate the portal room so. If you’ve already done the questline on a different character, you’ll be able to skip a large portion of the quests before this one, along with the Battle for Lordaeron scenario. Not doing these quests will save you a substantial amount of time.
How To Get To Zandalar From Boralus
You might be wondering how you’re supposed to get to Zandalar to kick some Horde ass if there isn’t a portal to get there in the portal room. You’ll want to take a trip over to the Wind’s Redemption, the Alliance flagship in the Boralus harbor. Up at the helm, you’ll find Grand Admiral Jes-Tereth. If you’ve gotten far enough into the questline, you can talk to her to sail to one of the Alliance footholds in Zandalar.
