Where is the Cataclysm Timewalking Vendor?
Cataclysm Timewalking is part of WoW’s weekly event rotation. You’re able to complete Cataclysm Dungeons through a special section in group finder and receive scaled-up rewards appropriate for your character level. You’re also able to trade Timewarped Badges you earn in at a special Timewalking vendor that is only available during the Timewalking event. For Cataclysm Timewalking, the location of the vendor, Kiatke, is different for Alliance and Horde players.
Where Is Kiatke?
Unlike most other Timewalking vendors, Kiatke is in a different location for Horde and Alliance players.
Alliance Kiatke Location
For Alliance players, Kiatke is located by the Cataclysm portals in Stormwind at the coordinates 76.15, 17.40. She is standing by two tents in between the Twilight Highlands and Hyjal portals.
Horde Kiatke Location
For Horde players, Kiatke is located at the coordinates 52.09, 41.62 in the Valley of Wisdom in Orgrimmar. She’s a bit difficult to spot, as she is just southeast of the portals between some rocks and palm trees.
Cataclysm Timewalking Rewards
Kiatke sells various items in exchange for Timewarped Badges, a special currency only obtainable during Timewalking events. You can purchase gear, Commendations that will grant reputation with Cataclysm factions, toys, and heirloom upgrades.
Commendations for Cataclysm Reputation
Kiatke offers six different Commendations. Each Commendation will give you 500 reputation with the faction it is associated with and costs 50 Timewarped Badges.
- Commendation of the Dragonmaw Clan
- Commendation of the Wildhammer Clan
- Commendation of the Guardians of Hyjal
- Commendation of the Ramkahen
- Commendation of The Earthen Ring
- Commendation of Therazane
Cataclysm Timewalking Toys
There are two toys available from Kiatke during the Cataclysm Timewalking Event. Gurboggle’s Gleaming Bubble is available for 1500 Timewarped Badges, and Tosselwrench’s Mega-Accurate Simulation Viewfinder is available for 3000 Timewarped Badges.
Cataclysm Timewalking Vendor Gear
You’ll be able to buy gear from Kiatke during the Cataclysm Timewalking Event. The gear you can buy is ilvl 138 on a level 60 character, so it’s great gear to use to catch up an alt! There are 22 different pieces of gear you can buy for the Finger, Chest, Waist, Wrist, and Trinket slots. Most pieces of gear are 25 Timewarped Badges, except for the Trinkets, which are 50 Timewarped Badges.

You’ll have probably already picked up some gear from doing the dungeons to earn your Timewarped Badges, but these are useful for filling in slots you’re missing. The gear Kiatke offers is a lower ilvl than the gear that drops during the dungeons, which is ilvl 158, but its likely still a huge boost to a freshly dinged 60 character!
“New!” Kaja’Cola
“New!” Kaja’Cola is a consumable only available from Kiatke during the Cataclysm Timewalking Event. Consuming one will cause your character to have “ideas” for a while. These range from “We put a whole town… in a tiny little box!” to “Invisible bunnies! We’ll put them all over the place, and they’ll control everything!” You can buy a stack of 20 of them for 10 Timewarped Badges.
What To Do With Extra Timewarped Badges
You’ll inevitably end up with some extra Timewarped Badges that you haven’t spend on rewards from Kiatke. Timewarped Badges are the universal currency for every Timewalking Event, so you can save them up to spend on the rewards you want when the next expansion’s Timewalking event circles around. If Kiatke doesn’t have something that catches your eye, the next vendor might!
Cataclysm Timewalking Vendor Mount
Most Timewalking Events in WoW have a mount that you can purchase from the vendor for that event. The Cataclysm Timewalking Event, however, has no mount.
You are still able to earn mounts associated with Cataclysm Timewalking dungeons, however, such as the Vitreous Stone Drake in The Stonecore or the Drake of the North Wind in The Vortex Pinnacle. Most Cataclysm dungeon mounts have an extremely low drop chance, however. You’re better off farming them on a max level toon by going to the dungeon and running it the normal way instead of running it as a timewalking instance.
